Conclusion:
Bamberg must belong to one of the nicest towns in Germany. It really is a lovely place to visit. It is a student town which gives it life in the evenings. If you have a beer problem, then don't visit Bamberg. Personally I enjoyed it very much indeed.
Not too expensive for a student town and prices throughout were fair and reasonable. I can't recommend Bamberg enough and if I could afford it, I would immediately move there.
