This is one of a few sailing trips we took to the Mediterranean Sea. Each time we went, we picked a different area on the Italian west coast. We had some really memorable, unforgettable, and enjoyable trips. We got to know the west coast of Italy and its surrounding islands and people.

Lipari is the largest of the seven Aeolian Islands, located in the Tyrrhenian Sea off the northern coast of Sicily, Southern Italy.

Some images taken throughout the trip. Believe it or not, you don't need to take any expensive and heavy camera equipment when going on these trips. Actually, my main concern was falling overboard and having my camera equipment sink to the bottom of the Med. :-)

A better map of the region can be seen below.

The cameras used on this trip were the Panasonix Lumix LX100 and the Panasonic Lumix TZ101. Both cameras performed flawlessly  and I was impressed at the quality you can get from these relatively cheap cameras.
